Attack Phase – Day 5

Morning weigh in: 108.9kg

  • Daily loss : 0.3kg / 0.66lbs
  • Total loss: 3.4kg / 7.5lbs

Watercheck – 1.5l as at 23.00

Breakfast

  • Oatbran porridge with skimmed milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Milky tea

Lunch

  • Ikea Swedish Meatballs (oh noes, drowned in fat!!)

Dinner

  • Chicken breast – 210g
  • 100g natural low fat yoghurt & 1 tsp canderel

Late start to the day – didn’t have breakfast till 1pm!! We ended up going to Ikea to return some stuff (and then returned with some stuff!) But I stupidly decided that I was hungry enough for the protein in the Swedish Meatballs.  They were tasty, yes.  But they were also very, very fatty.  I popped an Alli when I got home – not looking forward to THAT coming out tomorrow!

But aside from the meatballs, I’ve been very good today.  Have discovered Canderel, which could end up being a lifesaver.  I also replaced my daily commute with what should have been a 20 minute walk as per Dr Dukan’s instructions, but it ended up being more like a 50 min walk!

I have to say though, I was looking into how long I’ll need to stay on the Consolidation phase once I shed all this weight – over a year!  I’m feeling a little regimented NOW, after just five days – how am I going to feel after 400 days (not including the Cruise phase) of this regimen? Eeek! I’m hoping that it will end up just being a lifestyle rather than a thing I have to work at every day.
