  • Daily loss 0.3 kg/0.66lbs

Breakfast

  • Dukan Porridge
  • Cup of tea

Morning snack

  • 6 slices of pastrami
  • cup of tea
  • 1/3 of a small slice of lemon drizzle cake – a teensy amount.  Here’s hoping it doesn’t sabotage me!!

Lunch

  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 1 chicken breast from Tesco with the skin taken off
  • 1/2 a fillet of salmon
  • about 15 baby plum tomatoes

Afternoon Snack

Dinner

Grazed on a container of sweet red peppers and carrot batons today too.  Yum!

Exercise: Walked to and from work, as fast as my injured knee would take me.  Took 30 mins each way or so, so an hour in total.  I’m still not really ready to ride the bike yet.

I’m still struggling a bit with the various bits of yummies in the kitchen at my work.  There are always leftover biscuits and cakes from meetings, and some of them are mighty powerful tempting, hence my small indiscretion with the lemon drizzle cake.  I’ve been looking into desserts – I tried making the lemon meringue pie on the dukan website.  It was HORRID. Absolutely nasty.  However, over at http://www.Protal.me, there have been some faaahbulous looking recipes for oatbran cookies and chocolate oatbran muffins. I think I need to try them.  J is away tonight, so some baking might be in order…
