Cruise day 14 – PP

Morning weigh-in: 107.2

  • Daily loss 0.0 kg/0.0lbs
  • Total lost 5.1kg/11.22lbs

Watercheck – 2l as at 11pm

Breakfast

  • Oatbran porridge
  • 2 eggs
  • Cup of tea (only half drunk)

Lunch

  • Chicken breast from half roast chicken at Garfunkels.  Bit dry, and they piled on chips and vege on the plate – I should have known not to ask for that… Oooh, the temptation.  I’ll admit to having:
  • 2/3rds of a chip

Dinner

  • Stirfried chicken from local chinese place – I was SOOO hungry after a day of freelancing and not having my usual tupperware with me on the desk.  It was perhaps a bad plan, as scales the next day attested…

Dukan is all about routine for me.  And today was a non-routine day, I was at a different office working as a freelance contractor, and was totally unprepared. Grrr.

Again, walking home I stopped into the supermarket to make sure that I had all I needed for the PV day the next day, and got unduly emotional at all the sweet, carby stuff in all the fruit and pastry aisles.  I even went so far as to google how many calories were in a sainsburys ring donut.  The shock of that many numbers was enough to make me keep going – though in hindsight I’d have done better to have that donut, than to have the stirfried chinese chicken.  I had an Alli pill with dinner, and the fat content of the meal is making itself apparent to me, in the form of “treatment effect.”

Ugh.

Edited to add – I nearly forgot! I tried making Dukan Cookies today.  What a faff.  They ended up tasting more like insipid soft pancakes than cookies. Perhaps I didn’t cook them for long enough, but ugh.  Next on the list of things to try are the Dukan chocolate muffins.  Wish me luck!
