Morning weigh-in: 105.2

  • Daily lost -0.1kg/-0.22lbs
  • Total lost 7.1kg/15.62lbs

Watercheck – 2l by 10pm

Breakfast

  • Oatbran porridge
  • 2x microwaved eggs
  • Cup of tea

Exercise

  • 10 minute cycle to work
  • 45 minute cycle home (via a circuitous route)
  • Was going to do my 30 minute walk around the Meadows today, but by the time I got home, did kitty stuff, cooked dinner, had said dinner, played with Link the Kitten, it was too dark – one doesn’t walk in the Meadows in the dark.  I’m resolved to leave the bike at home more regularly and walk into work.

So, no 30 minute walk  yesterday, and a teensy rebound today.  See, this is why I like weighing every day – usually I can see something I’ve done wrong the day before, to account for any weight gain, which spurs me on to not make the same mistake again.  I know that I need to keep the activity levels up, even if it is just a walk around the park after work, because this is what happens when I don’t.  And that makes me more motivated and feel more virtuous when I do everything right – especially when I’m rewarded for it…

Not that I’m complaining – a 100gram rebound is a blip, but I was kinda looking forward to seeing those “104” digits on the scales, even it it was a “104.9”.

  1. The blip is most likely due to salt retaining the water you are drinking. Dukan says it takes a few days to sort out, so don’t fret yerself.
