Cruise day 44 – PP

Morning weigh-in: 101.5

  • Daily GAIN 0.1kg/0.22lbs
  • Total lost 10.8kg/23.76lb

Watercheck – 2.1l by 16.35pm

  • Oatbran porridge
  • 1x microwaved egg
  • Cup of milky tea

Morning snack

  • Chocolate oatbran muffin

  • Skewered chicken fajita thigh pieces (I spent about 30-40 minutes carefully removing every ounce of fat from these, so hopefully they were pretty lean.)
  • mini babybel light

Afternoon snack

  • Chocolate oatbran muffin
  • cup of milky coffee

Second afternoon snack

  • Pot of muller light

  • Planning on a Nandos 1/2 chicken before going to the cinema

Well, after the big result on the scale yesterday, I was expecting to have a more significant bounce back up again today – I’m actually really happy with the result of gaining back 100g after a PV day.  As for my chicken fajita pieces – I’m still not sick of them, but wondering whether I should alter my protein intake somewhat – I do seem to be eating a lot of chicken, compared to when I first started.  Perhaps with some white fish – I just need to learn how to prepare it!

    Hi Charlotte

I like white fish with sumac. I just pan fry in a non stick with no oil and season both sides with salt, pepper and lots of sumac. It’s quite light and tasty!

    You’re doing so well!

  2. Don’t forget about red meat (if you eat it) for the iron

Have you tried the luc-lac beef in the Dukan book – it’s yummy!

    This is recipe for 2:
400g beef – cut into cubes then marinate for 30 mins (or over night) in 2 tbsp soy; 1 tbsp oyster sauce; and some pepper. I also put some chopped chives in as well.

Then when ready to cook, fry some garlic in tsp veggie oil (I use 2 cloves but love my garlic!!!!!!!) then add the beef and the sauce. This is really nice and also can be eaten cold in the pack up for the next day – enjoy!!
