No change on the scales today, despite my 60 minute walk yesterday – I think that goes further towards indicating  that even “Really Light” Ribena constitutes too much sugar.  Jo has recommended I try out Tesco’s range of flavoured waters, but it’s also occurred to me that even a small splash of Ribena will improve the taste of plain water.  I tried getting some Robinsons “No Added Sugar” cordial, and worked out that in order to limit it to just 1cal per 250ml, I could only put in 30ml of the cordial, to 1l of water.  It smells fine, but tastes a bit insipid.  Just twice that amount would give me a very decent taste – it kinda annoys me that according to Dukan’s method, 4cal vs 8cal in a litre really makes that much difference – there were more carbs in my cottage cheese today at lunch!

So, to see if I can make up for the current state of stagnation (I’ve spent a week in the 99s – first time I’ve had under a 1.1kg loss since my bike accident!) I’m pulling out all the stops.  It was a very solid PP day today, no tolerated foods, only unlimiteds.  Most of my liquid today was high-magnesium Evian (the thing that pushed me out of my last stagation) and I walked for a bit longer. Let’s see if I can’t pull myself down into the 98s today.
