Why it’s important to have co-workers involved in your Dukan Diet.

Funny story, had to share.  There are these amazing biscuits in the kitchen at work (US people – UK cookies are called biscuits.) They’re such good biscuits.  M&S biscuits. Chocolatey, crunchy, totally delish.  I’ve not had one in aaaaages.

But today, there was only 3 of us in the office and rather than someone just going to the kitchen to get themselves a biscuit, Iain went and brought out the whole box, and put it on the edge of my desk – my desk being equidistant from the kitchen and Natalie’s desk.

My god those biscuits smelt soo good.  One was a little crumbled, and my fingers twitched towards a small, 1cm squared crumb of it.

“This little piece won’t hurt my diet,” I said, but before I knew it, Natalie had leaned across the desk and, in her best ex-teachers voice, scolded me –

“Don’t be ridiculous,” and with this she snatched the crumb out of my hand, throwing it in the bin. “You won’t even enjoy it, and then you’ll just feel guilty.”

I have to add that I was practically rolling around the floor laughing by this point.  She’s hilarious.

It’s good to have co-workers/friends on board with your diet.
