Cruise day 62 – PP

Morning weigh-in: 98.9

  • Daily GAIN0.2kg/0.22lbs
  • Total lost 13.4kg/29.48lb

Watercheck – 2.6l by 5pm incl water, tea & peppermint tea

Breakfast

  • 2x microwaved egg
  • oatbran porridge
  • cup of tea

Lunch

  • Chicken Fajita skewered pieces
  • Mini babybel light x2 (yep, there goes my tolerated food allowance for the day)

Dinner

  • Frying steak, cooked on the George.

Exercise

  • 25min cycle to and from work
  • 60 min walk around the Meadows

Another gain, but to be expected following this weekend.  I drank what felt like a LOT of water yesterday (for the time I was awake, anyway) and I got next to no exercise, so I’m not overly fussed by this wee bounce-back.  At least I’m still in the 98s!

Tonight I got a nice loooong walk before dinner, and dinner was just a simple steak, with no frou-frou. Regardless of what happens on the scales tomorrow, I know I’ve done a good Dukan Day today, and the weight will all come off eventually.

Last thing I did today was to substitute 2 of my 3 normal daily servings of tea & milk, for peppermint tea.  It was pointed out to me a while ago that skimmed milk, while low in fat, is comparatively high in carbs, and my mum always maintains that if you use skimmed milk, you need to use more of it to get that creamy taste – and she’s dead right.  I have about 100ml of milk in my tea.  Three servings (sometimes four) all adds up.  And I can’t have tea without lots of milk, so I’m having one cup only, and water & peppermint tea for the rest of the day.
