Morning weigh-in: 98.1

  • Daily GAIN 0.3kg/0.66lbs
  • Total lost 14.2kg/31.24lbs

Watercheck – 1.4l by 18.00pm

Breakfast

  • oatbran porridge
  • 2x microwave eggs
  • cup of tea

Lunch (eaten at the top of Arthur’s Seat)

  • 7 slices smoked ham & 3 kabana sausages (trace carbs in both)
  • Strawberry muller light
  • Mini babybel light

Dinner

  • Peppered minute steaks

Exercise

  • 55 mins walking, including 20 mins up and down the summit of Arthur’s Seat
  • 60 mins cycling, including up to the carpark just below the top of Arthur’s Seat (puff puff puff)

Well, as expected, I was up again on the scales this morning – but I was determined to burn off excess calories and carbs from my system today – I got some good solid exercise, and had a LOVELY protein-rich low-carb picnic at the top of Arthur’s Seat.  Plus, bonus for me when I got up the top – there was an Edinburgh Fringe Festival comedy show to reward me when I got up there! FUN!

I’m not glum at all about the jump on the scales this morning – it’s all cause and effect.  I knew yesterday when I had those shortbread biscuits, and then had a delicious three course meal at Whighams, that there would be consequences like that.  It’s when you do everything right and still get faced with a less-than-successful result that you get frustrated… 🙂
