  • Daily LOSS 0.7kgs / 1.54lbs
  • Total lost 20.2kg/44.44lbs

Watercheck – 3.7l

Breakfast

  • oatbran porridge
  • 2x microwaved eggs
  • Cup of tea

  • 4x lean beef sausages

Afternoon snack

  • 1 small shortbread cookie. *sigh* I hate those things (in the “I-love-those-things” kinda way).  I actually went to the fridge at work to get a yoghurt pot, only to discover that there were none left! *sigh* I had the munchies, but frelled up. *sigh*

Dinner

  • Lean beef mince with homemade taco seasoning (cumin, turmeric, chilli, paprika, garlic & onion) with lettuce, tomato, a tablespoon of fat-free creme fraiche and a tablespoon of salsa
  • Muller light strawberry flavour

Exercise

  • 25 mins cycle to and from work
  • 30 mins on the cross trainer
  • 30 mins brisk walking around the Meadows

SWEET! I’ve lost 20 kgs! I did the jubilant Snoopy dance on the scales this morning. Nekkid.  I always weigh myself nekkid – why should I let my watch, tshirt or undies contribute to my weight? 😉

It just goes to show – major munchies yesterday, I ate lots, but I stayed right on diet and didn’t have anything bad – and was rewarded by a lovely whoosh this morning.  OK, granted, I did do 30 mins on the cross trainer yesterday (and thought I’d die) as well as a 30 min walk at top speeds, but still.  A respectable result.

However, when the munchies hit today, I crapped all over my good work by having a shortbread cookie.  Hence more delightful exercise bulimia tonight – another session on the cross trainer as penance, plus a walk.  I actually quite enjoy this combo – I get bored for too long on the cross trainer (plus, my toes fall asleep) and 30 mins walking feels really easy after all this time doing 60 mins as normal.

It does, however, feel like I’ve eaten an awful lot today – and being a PV day, I’m sure that my weight will slip upwards again in the morning.  Not to worry, though – it’ll come down again soon enough.

Also – I just realised.  Look at my water check for the day! Almost four litres, and that wasn’t even really trying.  I suspect that not all of that will be shed by my body in the morning – but again, not to worry! It’s only water!

    • Hiya Julie!

I dunno about following my meal plan – I don’t seem to be doing that great recently – just avoid my snacking, which is letting me down recently! If you should be following anyone’s meal plan of late, let it be Lauren’s – she’s doing really well! I think I need to start following my own meal plans from back when my diet was doing really well – I think I might be hitting a wall right now, or a False Ceiling as Dave & Ruth put it…

The exercise certainly does make a difference though! 🙂
