Cruise day 98 – PP

Morning weigh-in: 92.9kgs

  • Daily GAIN 0.8kgs / 1.76lbs
  • Total lost 19.4kg/42.68lbs

Watercheck – 2.7l

Breakfast

  • oatbran porridge
  • 2x microwaved eggs
  • Cup of tea

Lunch

  • 2x chicken breast fillets from Sainsburys with the skin taken off
  • 2x mini babybel light
  • mug of coffee

Afternoon snack

  • Muller Light strawberry

Dinner

  • Mini chicken fillets in home-made fajita seasoning

Exercise

  • 30 mins cycle to and from work

Well.  That’s annoying.  I manage to get past my 20kg threshold, and then promptly fall back upwards again – though didn’t I predict this? Too much water yesterday, plus bad cookie.

And what’s more, I was totally unprepared for my PP day today – I had to go to the supermarket and pick up pre-cooked meats.  I’m not following my own Top Three Cardinal Rules of Dukan Dieting, which are:

  1. Preparation,
  2. Preparation, and
  3. Preparation.

I also overshot my tolerated foods allowance with the muller light and 2x mini babybel light.  It was a long, stressful day at work.  I’m actually surprised (and a little proud) that I managed to avoid all the yummy biscuits in the cupboard at work, what with the day we had.  Another big meeting is happening tomorrow, so I’ll really be testing my resolve not to touch the biscuits I’ll inevitably be forced to clean up afterwards…

I also didn’t manage my 60 min walk today – I arrived home from work too late, though my cycle was a little longer cause I detoured to the supermarket to buy m’self heaps of meat.

Well done on getting 20 kg off. Don’t give up and you will beat that scale!
I have a weakness – short bread biscuits – yikes I love them and someone gave me a packet for my birthday all the way from Scotland. I had one and gave them to my son who adores them as well. i watched sadly as he scoffed the lot!!
But it is worth it – just imagine when you lose the next 20 kg how insignificant eating a shortbread biscuit will be. That is what I am telling myself!!!

I have found my blog to be a lifesaver – I write everything down. I love reading yours, you are so encouraging and you motivate me. Come on Charlotte – keep going strong

    • Awww, thanks Jeanette! You’re right – the blog is a total life saver (how is it that I’m not linking to yours yet? I’m away to rectify that now…) Writing down everything really helps keep on track, and it also helps know that like-minded people are watching, contributing and experiencing the same things! 🙂
