Cruise day 106 – PV

Morning weigh-in: 91.7kgs

  • Daily LOSS 0.1kgs / 0.22lbs
  • Total lost 20.6kg/ 45.32lbs

Watercheck –2.5l – incl water, 1 coffee and 1 peppermint tea

Breakfast

  • Oatbran porridge
  • 2x microwaved eggs
  • 3 chicken nuggets with fajita seasoning
  • mug of coffee

Morning & afternoon snacks

  • Grazing from a snackbox of chicken nuggets & cold cuts of ham, roast beef & pastrami:

Lunch

  • 3x lean beef rissoles with sage and onion

Dinner

  • Chicken stirfry with mangetout, broccoli, cabbage and ginger

Exercise

  • 35 mins cycling to and from work (I forgot something halfway in, and had to go back for it – hence the extra time.)
  • 35 min walk around the Meadows – less than normal because my hip is still a little sore from my Long Walk two days ago.

Day one of my Back to Basics regime – my snackbox was as meaty as they come.  I ended up having some fajita chicken nuggets with my breakfast this morning and felt really REALLY satisfied – full, even.

Morning tea time rolled around, and I munched on some more chicken nuggets, a roast beef slice and some pastrami.  More water with this.  No cordial or coke today, and only one cup of tea/coffee.

It’s amazing how much more motivated I am now – I feel like I was starting to skid off the rails, but now my wheels are firmly back on the track and we’re coasting along happily.

End of the day – and I’ve been a Model Dukaneer.  No tolerated foods, a good amount of exercise, and not a single temptation to stray.  I feel like I did back in the first 40 or so days of this diet – very full, and very not tempted to stray.  Long may it continue

  1. You and me babe! Back into it full swing 😀
I even went to bikram yoga again this morning and am having a PT session tonite (even though I love it, getting around to exercise is a problem for me…as I’m sure you already know!)
I’m going to take some chicken out of the freezer now and make me up some of those nuggets!
Sending some good mojo your way xoxo

      • Ok so I was stuffed after Yoga…so I didn’t PT, but I have already been for a walk this morning!

      • Hurray! Well done on the morning walk – according to Dave, it sets up your metabolism for the day, though I never quite manage it, my mornings are too frantic.

I’d forgotten how great it is to be able to eat as much meat as you like and still lose weight! Go the Meaty Snackbox! (or is it a Snacky Meatbox?)

Well done Charlotte – pretty impressive lunch box girl!!!
I exercised yesterday for the first time in ages and boy was I dead!
I only managed 10 min on the bike after walking for 20 min so super unfit!!!
Glad you had a good day.

    • Hehe, yeah, I love my snackbox. I actually didn’t even end up finishing it last night – it kept me going well into the evening too!

Well done on the exercise – it makes such a difference! Even a little exercise will have an impact, especially if you’ve not done it for a while. Keep it up! 🙂 It’s amazing how great it is to be able to walk fast and not be exhausted at the end – my boyfriend is complaining now that I walk too fast, whereas it was the other way around before I started Dukan.

  3. Looks like it was the perfect Dukan day but man, that box is so full of meat. Although I think if I would put all the meat that I eat in one day into a box it would look pretty much like your box 🙂

Great to see that your back on track 🙂
