OK, so no change on the scales again this morning.  I’m telling myself that it’s because of the upper body weights training last night, but my muscles aren’t feeling overly sore.  I was totally good yesterday in terms of what I ate, so there’s really nothing more I can do but Wait for the Whoosh.

It really does feel like I’ve been stuck here forever.  This week my 7 day rolling average line on my graph went up TWICE in three days – it’s only gone up three times in the whole diet since my post-attack Cruise stagnation coupled with the knee injury.  I suppose I do need to be prepared for the scales to be much more irregular now that I’m lifting weights.  I’m just really hanging out for that 89-point-something moment on the scales…

  1. Hang in there, I’m sure you’ll get in the 80’s this weekend 🙂 The scale can be tricky sometimes, I went up 700g this morning and I can’t see any reason why, have been in a really bad mood this morning and even thinking about why I’m even trying to loose weigh since no one is even asking me if I’ve lost weight, well not here in the NL. But then I remembered that last weekend back home, everyone was telling me how good I was looking and that there was a huge difference so now I just have to remember that every time I feel a little bit down and keep on hanging in there. Dukan works and soon both of us will reach our true weight 🙂 🙂

  2. Charlotte, hang in there. It’s not only about the scales, especially when you start weight training. At least the scales didn’t go up 🙂 .. You’re doing soo great. Seriously, you ARE inspiring! The way you eat and your exercise! wow. Amazing! You got a lot of determination and energy! Well done. You’ll be in the 80’s very soon! Keep it up … We’re all cheering for you! YOu can do this 🙂
