Cruise day 122 – PP

Morning weigh-in 90.4kgs

  • Daily LOSS 0.9kgs/ 1.98lbs
  • Total lost 21.9kg/ 48.18lbs

Watercheck – 1.8l (not counting the two G&Ts)

Breakfast

  • Oatbran porridge
  • 2x microwaved eggs
  • mug of tea

Lunch

  • Chicken fajita pieces

Afternoon snack

  • Chocolate custard pudding

Dinner

  • Lean taco-seasoned mince (home made seasoning with real spices, not the shop bought carby stuff) with fat free creme fraiche and a teaspoon of salsa
  • 2 gin and tonics (made with diet tonic water – totally carb free, but not calorie free)

Exercise

  • 25 min cycle to and from work
  • 25 min walk around the Meadows until it started to rain and I went home – grr!

OK, so down again on the scales today.  Like a bloody yo-yo.  I am definitely at my false ceiling.  OK, so perhaps things like G&Ts aren’t the best thing, but the drinks are totally carb free.  Dukan does specifically forbid them, but it was J’s last day of his old job and blah blah blah excuses excuses. NO excuses.

I think that the G&Ts aren’t as harmful to the weightloss as the daily chocolate custard puds, even if they are home made from tolerated ingredients.  I think I’m going to leave them alone for a while and swap them out for fat-free natural yoghurt.  I’ve discovered that Activia do a lovely smooth natural fat-free yoghurt, which tastes lovely with a little sweetener.

I won’t be too disappointed if I stay in the 90s for a few days yet, but my goal is to get into the 89s by NEXT FRIDAY. That gives me a week, and I’m also going to do a couple of extra days of PP, and try to cut the tolerateds out altogether.  Dave and Ruth, get that bottle of wine ready! 😉
