Well, we kinda knew this would happen, didn’t we? I did some weights yesterday, and now I can feel my shoulders and back all achy from it – as was to be expected.  And coupled with that, a 400g gain today.  No biggie, actually.  I’m down 1.2 kgs from where I was this time last week, and my 7-day average curve has started dipping down again, after a few days of heading upwards (which was starting to get me down).

**later**

OMG I think I’m about to go into a carb-coma.  The bread with that soup has just pushed me over the limit from full to someone-please-shoot-me-in-the-stomach-now-to-help-relieve-the-pressure.  Waaahhaaaahh!

I had to go and have a bit of bread, didn’t I? Or perhaps it was Alot of Bread (read Hyperbole and a Half for discussion around my ironic use of the word Alot.)  I think I feel a bit like I did after that pizza that time, 10kgs ago.  I ate the pizza, and haven’t really been able to stomach pizza since.  I suspect it’ll be a while before I want bread again.

And I’m really going to do a proper few days of PP now.  I only had the soup because J & I had cooked up a massive batch of it over the weekend, and there was some leftover after packaging it all up, and we had no freezer bags left, so we just had to eat it.  And I only ate the bread cause there was soup. BLARG!

Plus? Muscles are sore today from the weights.  So I don’t feel so bad about going back up again this morning.  Which is not to say that I won’t feel bad about going up again tomorrow morning after all that bread.

  1. Oh man! i hate it when that happens. You go for a little bite of something then you can’t stop!! That’s why i haven’t tried to make the Dukan Friendly Bread .. i’m a bread junkie, no matter what kind it is. I’m afraid to take a bite and then never stop!
Go back on track.. you can do this 🙂
