Day 209 – Re-attacking day 1

Morning weigh-in 95.5kgs – Post NYE weight… Eeeeek!

  • Total lost 16.8kg/ 36.96lbs

Watercheck – 1.5l

Brunch

  • Oatbran Porridge
  • Chicken pieces
  • Mug of tea

Early dinner

  • Nandos chicken

Late snack

  • An accidental mince pie – which made me realise that I was hungry, so I tore into some Dukan-friendly foods:
  • 2x microwaved eggs
  • a pot of fat free natural yoghurt

Exercise

  • 25 mins walking

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! 🙂

So I started back into Dukan this morning with a vengeance.  I ate perfectly right up until 10pm, at which point I gobbled a mince pie.  We don’t have the required Dukan snackfoods in the house yet – no ham slices or anything, but at least, rather than having another of the TEN mince pies in the box, I microwaved myself the last two eggs in the fridge.  Tesco order coming tomorrow, thank goodness – mostly meat.

It just goes to show that the number one thing you need to be successful on Dukan is PREPARATION.

So, the plan is now to do a solid week’s worth of Attacking, before settling back into Cruise. I’m going to absolutely strive to be a Model Dukaneer – I have to lose 6 kilos – (SIX!) – before I am back to where I was before Christmas, but looking at my graph, I’ve really not been having a great Dukan time since early October – about the time when sunset became earlier than 6.30pm and when I stopped being able to go out walking after work.  Thank god the days are getting longer – come mid February, after work walking will be more pleasant, and then by March, the clocks change and EVERYTHING gets better again.

J is going to give Dukan a go, starting his own 4 day attack in a couple of days.  That way, we’ll finish our attacks at the same time, and both be on the same Cruise schedule this time next week.  OMG, this is going to make things so much easier – wish us luck! 🙂

  2. Welcome to the January Attack Club – (Jeanette’s idea)! Great to have you back – I agree that it is much easier when you have someone else in the house following the same regime. I am also going to do a week of attack to try to budge the 3 kgs that the Christmas fairy left on my tummy and bum!! Bring back the whoosh fairy!! have a very happy new year. Cheers Ros

    wishing you luck to start again…..wish me luck too though because i had to stop for a week during the party season…..put on 3 kilos so i need to start again in earest. today was the last public holiday for a while and i am all partied out. i am actually looking forward to my galette in the morning. yum! time for bed a sweet dreams. xo
