Day 236 – Cruise PV

Morning weigh-in 92.3kgs

  • Daily LOSS 1.2kgs / 2.64lbs
  • Total lost 20kg/ 44lbs

Watercheck –0.8 plus cocktails…

Brunch

Dinner

  • Veggie Haggis, Neeps and Tatties for our Burns Night.  Perhaps a bit too much haggis and tatties, but one has to for burns night, no? 😉

Exercise

  • 45 mins walking around town

Alcohol

  • 2 cosmopolitans
  • about 7 different other drinks that defy any common nomenclature… spirits and mixers is a good way to describe them….

So I’m writing this just before going to bed, following our lovely Burns Night supper with friends, hosted at our place.  The idea of the night was to eat haggis neeps & tatties, and then read stories to each other, with a bit of music in there too.  I played a bit of fiddle, there was a bit of guitar out, but the night descended into Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes, which ended up with me unable to speak in anything other than very poor iambic pentameter.  I blame the Cocktails Which Defy Definition.

A good night for all.  Probably not so good for the diet, but one needs to make concessions for Special Occasions.  After all, we were celebrating Australia Day too… 😉 I’m still feeling exceptionally motivated, not to worry.

Exercise is feeling easier these days.  I can feel the light coming back to our lives here in Scotland…

  1. Yay, good to see that your numbers are dropping in spite of all the alcohol 😉 I´m slowly getting back of track, not in the blogging mood yet but I´ll be back !

    • Hey you!

Yep, things are definitely on the improve… 🙂 Exercise is definitely key, there’s no doubt in my mind.

Blog the ups and the downs, hun! I dunno about you, but days when I don’t blog, I tend to hold myself less accountable.

      Keep it up! 🙂

If anyone can face the big scary men at the gym it is you. Go kick some butt. Oh and I love the Sheep dog bra. Will have to use that discription some time.

  3. Hey hey
Gyms? yuk! Too many weirdo and germs! LOL. Alcohol is another matter; we have found that it makes the least difference. In a toss up between a bun and a vino or a choccy niccy and a cocktail, we’ll take the demon drink every time — especially when you look at the scales. the main danger with the drinkies is the snakies that often come along, the peanut and crsip cravings, the calling of the kebab, the whiff of a passing balti or pokie chips… character building stuff! Cheers m’ders!
