Day 245 – Cruise PV

Morning weigh-in 92.2kgs

  • Daily GAIN 0.2kg/ 0.44lbs
  • Total lost 20.1kg/ 44.22lbs

Watercheck –1.8l

Breakfast

  • Oatbran porridge with cinnamon
  • 2x microwaved eggs
  • Mug of Tea

Lunch

  • Some leftover Tesco roast chicken
  • 2 slices of Edam
  • 4 cherry tomatoes

Dinner

  • 6 lean beef meatballs with tomato sauce – devine!

Exercise

  • 25 minute cycle to and from work

Distastrous carb eating

  • BISCUITS BISCUITS BISCUITS!!!
  • Cadbury creme egg

The nasty carb monster had a hold of me today, and wouldn’t let go.  I had The Munchies big time, and had biscuits with tea over what felt like all afternoon.  AAARRG!

I think I’m starting to notice a pattern though.  The carb monster had a hold over me yesterday too, though I resisted a bit more.  Both days, I started the day with porridge rather than the oatbran/flaxseed bread.  Tomorrow, I’m going back to the bread and seeing whether that has any affect.

My body’s still hurting from the last gym session (especially my back muscles, in a good, well exercised way – not in an “oh no I’ve hurt my spine” way) so I didn’t get out this evening.  Umm… Mañana… 😉

Also, please note the update on the Flaxseed Oatbran Bread recipe – it’s definitely better with a little less flaxseed, a little more wheatbran, and longer cooking time.

I’m resigned to an inevitable gain on a Monday morning, given that my weigh-in happens much earlier in the day than the previous morning due to the inevitable Sunday Lie-In.  I’m not fussed, honest I’m not.  Just happy to be holding steady at this point.

    right Mrs – wot have u done with her? u know, the charlotte who used to be able to resist temptation ……..??? where is she?? hey mrs – keep at it – u will get ur full on mojo back and once the light mornins and eves are here the old charls will be kickin ass – i know it………take care hunni bun …xx

    • Hehe… She’ll be back. In fact, she showed her head today. I had the flaxseed bread again today rather than porridge, and was fine with the self-control. Inneresting.

      Then again, I think I’m getting pms-y, still adjusting to being off the Pill. Not to worry, I’ll get there! 🙂

      • Looks like a flat-line to us (aka consolidation)… so well done on stopping the gain, wish you would actually do proper consolidation so you could enjoy bread, fruit and so forth, then cruise down in the summer. Because cheatin’ on cruise equals consolidation in effect but not enjoyment. Cut yerself some slack, enjoy your flat line, then continue when you have the resolve…
