Breakfast

Brunch

  • 2 poached eggs
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 2 sausages
  • haggis
  • a pot of tea

Dinner

  • Chicken vegetable stirfry with Shirataki noodles

Exercise

  • Really just 10 mins walking and a whole lotta clapping and cheering at today’s Roller Derby bout!

Wow, what an awesome day.  Roller Derby was just as brilliant as I’d hoped – and I’m now thinking seriously about buying a pair of skates and joining Edinburgh’s league.

In terms of food today – not too bad.  At least, no junk food.  I did go a little carb crazy meeting relatives for lunch – the sausages and haggis were not strictly speaking Dukan friendly, but I’ll live.

I think after last night’s cocktails, I was seriously dehydrated.  A favourable loss on the scales this morning, but I drank a good 2l of liquid today and only had to visit the ladies once in the evening, so I think that’s my body stocking up on water.  I’m expecting a bit of a jump on the scales in the morning, alas.

Tomorrow I’m doing a precious metal clay course all day – totally looking forward to it! 🙂

I wanted to ask you, what’s Shirataki noodles? is it something we can have on Cruise? Thanks!

    2. Shirataki noodles are brilliant – they’re made from the root of the Konjac plant, and are practically carb- and calorie- free.

They’re also known as Konnyaku or Miracle Nooles.

I had to order mine online – I’m sure you can find some online somewhere.

Do you recommend regular snacks? I haven’t been too hungry so only had something between meals occasionally- is that ok?

      • Yep, eat when you’re hungry, but only Dukan friendly snacks. I used to keep a wee box of grilled chicken bits on my desk to munch on, though it’s a lot of work in the mornings! 🙂
