Day 10 – Cruise PV

Morning weigh-in: 95.3kg

Daily LOSS 0.6 kgs / 1.32lbs
Total loss 3.6 kgs / 7.92lbs

Watercheck 2.0ll

Brunch

  • 3x microwaved eggs
  • 3x low carb sausages
  • oatbran porridge

Post-training snack

  • peach oatbran muffin (omg so needed!)

Dinner

  • Chicken salad
  • Chocolate shapes pud

Exercise

  • 2 hours utterly gruelling Roller Derby practice

Wow, Derby practice today was TOUGH.  By the end, my pony tail was soaked all the way through to the tips, and my pusher foot blister was faithfully back.

When I came back from practice, I was hungry! and TIRED!  I basically gobbled up my salad, then J’s leftover salad, and then slept on the couch for like, 3 hours before dragging myself out of bed to write this blog entry and get myself to bed.

But despite the fact that I didn’t eat my normal amount today, and worked really hard this afternoon, I have a sneaking suspicion that I’m not going to see another loss on the scales tomorrow – PV day today, coupled with being up at “normal” time tomorrow morning – I suspect that double whammy will see me up a bit in the morning.  Just my prediction.

And now, I’m off to bed for some much needed zzzzs.

Hi there glad your going ok, Im on attack phase following one week on lipotrim – Is oatmeal same as oatbran?

    • Hi Tracey,

oatbran and oatmeal are actually quite different, in terms of dietary fibre and glycemic index . Dukan doesn’t recommend oatmeal at all. Can you get oatbran over the internet? And how did you find the lipotrim? I just assumed it was a money making scam, but I’d be really interested about hearing from someone who had first hand experience with it!

  3. Hey Charlotte! How are you? I really love reading your blog, it´s inspiring. I´m on day 7 Cruise PP and I have linked your blog with mine… but I forgot to ask you first. So is it ok? I just started my blog and I thought it would be good to show some blogs about Dukan.
The recipes are fine and I will definitely try some of them.

    • hi hun,

Well done starting! Once things get a bit less busy around here, I’ll link to your blog from mine – and of course it’s fine to link to mine from yours! You don’t even need to ask! 🙂

Good luck, and keep going! 🙂

    Hi Charlotte,

I’m currently on the Dukan, and so far it’s been going well, 22 pounds in 2 months, however I was thinking about going to the Doctor and asking about a prescription for Xenical, just really to give me an extra boost, and to hopefully speed things up a bit. I was wondering in general if your experiences with the diet pill have been positive? Would you recommend it and do you feel it makes a difference? Do you take it every day? Just thought I’d ask as you’re the only person I know doing the Dukan and Xenical!

    Cheers,

    Sarah

    • Hi Sarah,

First off – well done on your 22lbs loss so far! that’s brilliant! 🙂

My advice about Xenical is – have a chat with your doctor. Everyone’s different, and noone’s experiences are the same. Xenical perhaps has some psychological drawbacks – in that it makes you a bit more blasé about fat, which is a Bad Thing, especially if you forget to take it with a meal.

If you do end up taking it, be very prepared for some of the not-so-pleasant “treatment effects”. Talk to your doctor about this!!

Let us know how you go! 🙂

      Charlotte xx

Thanks for getting back to me so quick! I’ve heard about some of the “unfortunate” effects, but I’m hoping since the Dukan is a low fat diet anyway they won’t be too bad. Also for me the threat of these effects will hopefully keep me from indulging in anything too fatty! I will have the chat with my Doctor, just hoping I don’t get a Dukan lecture! May do a “Charlotte” and go armed with spreadsheets and graphs! 🙂 Thanks again for the advice – I’ll let you know how I get on.

  6. oh my gosh! roller derby!?! you are one brave chicken 😉
I can’t skate to save my life (or skateboard or ice skate >.<) Let alone get pushed over! LOL. I LOVE the movie whip it though, and my friends want to take me to a match here in Melbourne. I think it's so cool, and I'm happy to be a spectator in this one 😉
