Day 15 – Cruise PP

Morning weigh in: 96.9kg

Daily LOSS: 0.6kgs / 1.32lbs
Total loss: 2.9kgs / 6.38lbs

Watercheck:  2.0l

Breakfast

  • Mug of coffee
  • 3 microwaved eggs
  • Oatbran porridge with cinnamon

Lunch

  • Chicken nuggety bites (3x breasts worth)

Afternoon snack

  • 2x mini babybel lights
  • small handful of salted peanuts

Dinner

  • chicken nuggety bites
  • 2 gluten free Cumberland sausages
  • Oh noes! A glass of Baileys. Just a small glass though.

Exercise

  • 25 mins cycling to and from work
  • 35 min walk around the Meadows
  • 10 lunges each leg
  • 20 squats
  • 1 minute wall squat

I nearly did perfectly today, aside from the peanuts and the Baileys. It was only a few peanuts. And the Baileys? Well, I have no excuse apart from, it seemed like a good idea at the time. In fact, it still does, for reasons that I cannot explain on this blog.

One perfect day, that’s all I need. Just one perfect day…

I was happy with the exercise I managed to get in today – halfway through my walk around the Meadows, I stopped and did some thigh strengthening exercises – just the sort of thing that’ll help with roller derby. It’s funny how breaking through that 18-lap barrier (nay, pounding though it!) to 20 laps has really galvanised my resolve to get stronger for derby’s sake. I’m hoping that a week’s worth of gentle nudging on my quads will help me get to 21 laps next week, or even 22 laps. I have three more weeks to make it to 25 laps before my chances are all up until January – that’s the next time they’re doing the minimum standards test…
