  • a few handfuls of Doritos

Exercise

  • 70 mins  walking to and from work – my new wellies are great, they keep my feet dry, but they’re kinda clumpy! I can’t power walk in them like I can in my trainers.

Not a great day.  Not a great few weeks, if I’m honest.  But even though this blog is ostensibly about the Dukan Diet, I also need to make sure that when I’m not following Pierre’s method properly, I keep track of what I’m eating.  If nothing else, writing it down makes me more aware of it, and makes me ask myself if I really want to indulge.

As you can see, my weight on the scales has gone up since the last time I checked in.  Down a bit from yesterday, but still not great.

I’m also feeling incredibly blocked up in my guts – much more than when I was following Dukan to the letter.  I’m more tired during the day, and apart from walking or cycling to and from work, I’ve been getting next to no exercise.  The footpaths outside are pretty slippery with black ice in places, and I have no desire to trudge out in sub-zero temperatures to get to the gym.  J and I are both most definitely suffering from the SADs, but we have made a pact that from Jan 2nd, we’re going to help each other get healthy again.  He’s even going to try Dukan!
