I could hardly believe my eyes on the scales this morning. I shuffled them around. I cleaned the feet. I carefully lined them up with the tiles in the bathroom that I use to ensure that they’re consistently placed on the uneven Edinburgh tenement floor. Still the same result: 96.1kgs – HELL YEAH!! I’d call that a whoosh. Whether it’s just naturally in the rhythm of things or whether it’s the fromage frais doing its work, we’ll have to wait and see.

I wasn’t really feeling like walking today, but managed to get out of the house anyway. So my walk wasn’t as long as I’d have liked, but by the end of it I was just glad to get home – I’m a bit knackered…

I have a sneaking suspicion that I’ll be up on the Scales of Woe tomorrow morning – I don’t believe I can get that good a loss and not have a bounce the next day… 😉

  1. Excellent! Don’t let your joy about today be spoiled by what you fear for tomorrow. (Wow, did I just say that? Sound like some philosopher!!!)
But seriously! Feel great about yourself today, which helps staying on track … and I *love* the expression “Scales of Woe”. Might have to steal that! 😉

Hi Charlotte – well done!!! You must be soooo proud of yourself. I’m pleased to read this update for two reasons – firstly, cos it’s always great to have your news, I love the energy flow – really, really helps me. And 2 – because I was wondering how you did. You usually post your blog in the morning and I was worried that you’d had a horrid day and didn’t want to tell us all! Phew – thank goodness that’s not the case. Well done – keep up the good work, diet and blog!! jayne (8lbs less after 2 weeks attack then cruise).

  5. I like my fromage frais with sweetner and a little vanilla essence. Lemon sounds good too though- it’s going on my shopping list!
